Tour Detail

Our trips offer you the chance to get up really close to nature as we explore the remote and deserted creeks and inlets of the Crouch and Roach estuaries.

This area is simply one of the best places to view our fantastic estuary wildlife.

On some of our trips we have a guide from the local RSPB that will be able to point out the birds for you and also give you a lot of information on our seals.

These scheduled trips depart from Essex Marina, Wallasea Island and Burnham Town Quay and last around two hours. The trips offer you the chance to get really close to nature, as we explore the remote and deserted creeks and inlets of the Crouch and Roach estuaries. This area is simply one of the best places and the least well known to view our fantastic wildlife.

Included
  • We are based at Essex Marina on Wallsea Island and offer trips into the Rivers Crouch & Roach to see the resident seals. Trips lasts approx. 2 hrs and we sail up to 3 times per day depending on tides and weather. We launch from Wallasea but also do pick-ups on the town jetty at Burnham-on-Crouch. Our trips take us around the RSPB reserve on Wallasea where a variety of birdlife can also be seen.
Excluded

The Highlight of this tour is seeing the seals on the sea front. It is known to see the pups with their mothers, they are very small and very cute. You can also see the seals diving in and out of the water try to catch their food.
