Bebington
Overview
Bebington is a town and electoral ward within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, in Merseyside, England. Historically part of Cheshire, it lies 5 miles south of Liverpool, close to the River Mersey on the eastern side of the Wirral Peninsula. Bebington benefits from many green spaces, a strong retail offer and some lovely scenic views. Perhaps less-known is just how much of a historic town Bebington actually is, even being credited as the location for the “Birth of England” back in 927 BC at the Battle of Brunanburh.
