Overview
Set on the south bank of the Thames, approximately five miles from central London, this city borough is rich in maritime history and features the Old Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory, which was built by Sir Christopher Wren for King Charles II. With Greenwich being so close to London there are so many things to do. You can visit the 02 Arena, Stratford, Royal Park, Cutty sark, Natural Maritime Museum and Greenwich park.
