Trearddur

Overview

Trearddur Bay is situated within a couple of miles of the town of Holyhead off of the north-west coast of Anglesey in Wales. The beach has a sheltered and marked bathing area with rock pooling and rambling, it is also popular for water sports including canoeing, surfboarding and water skiing as well as sea fishing and sailing. The local sailing club holds an annual regatta here and the village hosts a popular annual Oyster Festival; children's playground just behind the beach. Just south of the village is the Porth Diana Nature Reserve, home of the Spotted Rock Rose, Anglesey's county flower. Blue Flag beach. Toilets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Parking with charge, dog restrictions apply May - end September.
