Overview
Wembley is the principal town of the borough of Brent in north west London, England, about 8 miles (13 km) west-northwest of Charing Cross. Wembley is known as the location of Wembley Stadium, the home of the England national football team and the largest stadium by capacity in the UK. The prime landmark is Wembley Stadium, rebuilt 2003–2007 at a cost of £827 million, which is approached via the White Horse Bridge designed by the London Eye architects. Nearby is the SSE Arena, a Grade II-listed concert venue built in 1934.
