Paying for your reservation

Payment

If your reservation is canceled by your host you'll have two options:

  • Transfer your payment to a new ProperyStays reservation
  • Get a full refund

Note: In the event that your reservation is more than 4 weeks away, your payment will be automatically refunded.

Transfer your payment to a new ProperyStays reservation

If you choose this option, the money you paid towards your initial reservation is immediately available to use towards a new reservation. Once you've found a new place, we'll automatically transfer your original payment to your new reservation request, along with any eligible credit from ProperyStays. If your new reservation costs less than your original reservation, we'll refund you the difference.

Get a full refund

If you don't want to book another place on ProperyStays, you can ask for a full refund. To get a refund:

  1. In the ProperyStays app, tap Trips ProperyStays logo and choose a trip
  2. Find your canceled reservation and tap to view the itinerary
  3. In the itinerary, scroll down and tap Help to begin the refund process
